Backend chooser: shared recipes

Merged #18967 compares ec0f70fe31/2eb3fb8c7b4d1fca with exact capture/app/library 3dd7c0f4ed/e5a7cff1007a54ec. Twenty-two named states and 4,554 selected property pairs match. Short modals open at normal phone size before resize/scroll; initial entry via the existing 420 px-short drawer is outside the claim. Canonical Remote closed state uses natural Tab and settled animations; exploratory pre-settle captures are excluded. The owned key stays product-masked and .test host is inert.

The source/build identities and limits, comparison, authority/source binding and 44 PNGs/4 complete native clips are published at immutable asset B. Live proof is standalone Local Neutral/Light+ selected through actual UI/resolved CSS; legacy data-theme is null. Compiler/fixture host contracts are separate, and 44/41 per-owner test runs overlap the Vite suite. No live auth/provider/embedded claim, global pixel identity, synchronized-frame identity or visual improvement.

DigitalOcean follow-up: the same panel minimum

The bot identified a missed issue criterion in the provider panel. Head 6a5d1d78a9 resolves the two additive conflicts while preserving both recipe/test families, and migrates the missing DigitalOcean class. Compared with actual main 6284908600, twelve class tokens are the entire product AST change, with additive CSS. All 234 combined tests, full lint/typecheck and app/library builds pass; both emitted outputs preserve eight backend recipes. Actual desktop/phone selected styles and rectangles match.

Exact source/provenance, comparison and six unchanged originals and proof ZIP are published at immutable 2bc4e7841e. No token is entered, authentication submitted, provider resource created, or model invoked. Two owned runs are stopped/private-purged and ten actual ports closed. The original chooser film remains at its actual 3dd7c0f capture revision; earlier pixels are never relabelled as the new head. Current status: the bot approved head 6a5d1d78a9 after confirming the DigitalOcean criterion and green CI. The PR merged on 27 October at 23:00 UTC as 6354932e87. Capture revisions and media remain unchanged.

Backend forms: measured panel height

Merged #18902, issue #18900, compares 084a410604/bd00d766c4f403c3 with c183f4bc3c/19aafc29ca5edbc4. Twelve named paired settled-height states have zero observed geometry difference across desktop/phone and representative themes. Both After wrappers expose the numeric custom property with empty inline height. Normal motion remains height-only; actual reduced-motion samples report transition-property none. Real phone scrolling keeps Connect reachable.

The source revisions and limits, paired comparison and 32 PNGs and four complete raw recordings accompany the 45.60-second film. Initial/zero and nested-unmeasured fallback remain unit/compiled-CSS coverage. A pre-existing white DigitalOcean heading on Light+ remains documented in the raw packet; this film makes no provider contrast or performance claim.

The matching 47-asset packet is published at immutable Notebook a877fcbbdc; five critical raw downloads return HTTP 200 with matching full SHA-256 values. Eight current checks pass and six skip, including media-description validation. The live Notebook feature anchor remains verified. After bot approval, the PR merged at 10:23 Stockholm as 7b45252061; the recorded capture source is unchanged.

Backend chooser: same motion, shared classes

#18642 replaces two inline transforms. The real path is Backend selector → Add Backend → Providers → DigitalOcean → Back; no credential, token, provisioning or managed-agent execution is involved. Before records 6e93317744, whose chooser is unchanged since 83c9b64af6. After records checkout 8c577a4039 with product head 7dc9c74f93; only the independent verification-memory repair differs from that product head. The provenance and paired checks preserve exact heads, build identities and hashes. The eight-second desktop GIF preview is an excerpt, rather than the full film.

Providers: visible keyboard focus

The recorded #18327 head 8c8573b188 includes this third focus control; the PR merged on 16 October. The Agent-server tab and guidance toggle were also checked on that head in both light palettes; the Providers card fits at phone width. Baseline cb835dd328, real Agent Server 1.55.0. The legacy drawer's scrim remains compiled-CSS evidence in the earlier film below; the current Canvas uses the settings hub.

Connection banners: readable status

#18493 merged on 16 October, removing 18 raw-color findings in its audited batch. The film compares baseline cb835dd328 with head 0a9d129f8d, using real Agent Server 1.55.0. The configured banner was checked in all five palettes, and both captured banners fit at phone width. A disposable invalid credential arranged the configured state; it is not a claim of successful authentication. Live coverage is limited to configured credentials and a disconnected backend: CLI-authenticated success was not captured, and healthy-backend onboarding skips forward automatically.

Backend feedback and font-size cleanup

Backend colors are #18321; the independent text-medium cleanup is #18320. The real Agent Server is 1.54.0; no LLM call or credential entry was needed. Source revisions and measurements distinguish the recordings from the lint-only code comparison.

1. Name backend connection-chooser recipes

   #18967, issue #18965, originally removed eleven findings at 3dd7c0f4ed; the completed DigitalOcean follow-up removes twelve at 6a5d1d78a9, now merged as 6354932e87. All 41 focused tests across three files and app/library builds pass; eight renamed rules per output retain their exact declarations. Twelve automated Chromium cases are isolated actual-CSS contract fixtures, not live Canvas/backend evidence. Disclosure timing, mounted/inert content, add/edit viewport units, measured height, auth and save owners remain unchanged; the matching film and live/fixture limits are published and verified.

2. Keep backend panel height owned by measurement

   #18902, issue #18900, preserves positive measured height, nested auto fallback, the observer and the 300 ms height-only transition. At c183f4bc3c, 31 tests, typecheck, formatting and app/library CSS checks pass; target-file warnings fall from 13 to 11. The matching 12-state evidence and film are complete. After bot approval, the PR merged on 24 October at 10:23 Stockholm as 7b45252061. The recorded film and source head are unchanged.

3. Express chooser slides with static utilities

   #18642 moves two chooser slide styles into inspectable static utilities. The focused suite passes 30 tests. The full desktop/phone film and labelled reduced-motion originals now complete matching capture, with geometry, focus, inert and motion checks preserved. All 13 current checks pass and two are skipped, including successful description validation. all-hands-bot approved exact head 7dc9c74f93, and a new independent risk review cleared it. The watch merged it at 05:11 Stockholm time as 319ea59b2e.

4. Make backend connection feedback readable

   #18321 uses the existing feedback-text roles for connection errors and status messages, with a 5% semantic tint on error panels. Real desktop/phone measurements passed in all five themes: error text 4.55–4.92:1, connected status 4.91–9.96:1. The proposal removed 15 raw-color warnings, from 133 to 118 in its audited source tree; this is a historical proposal count, not a live count on main.

5. Theme the connection status banners

   #18493 replaces 18 raw-color findings in its audited batch with theme-aware status and feedback roles. The film shows configured credentials and disconnected-backend feedback; the configured banner was checked in all five palettes and both recorded banners at phone width. CLI-authenticated success remains outside the live capture coverage. The film records 0a9d129f8d; final head faea309c9d also incorporates main and removes minor-change spec bookkeeping. The PR merged at 06:59 Stockholm time.

6. Use theme focus for managed agents

   #18520 is open/non-draft, CLEAN and mergeable at unchanged aef5a5591d; eight checks pass and six skip. The latest all-hands-bot approval, 23 October at 13:13 Stockholm, accepts disclosed fixture-backed appearance evidence for the defensive focus-token alignment. Existing evidence includes a real-account empty state plus forty focus captures across five themes/two viewports/four controls, with fixture use labelled. No duplicate source work or renewed review is needed.

   The earlier static palette audit at f7caf58063 and its historical evidence gap are preserved. Issue #18517 still requests authenticated affected-state evidence and lacks ready-for-dev. The fixture does not prove DigitalOcean authentication, billing, provider failures or resource lifecycle; its acceptance does not rewrite those issue criteria.
